EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT SERVICES

This growing program at CCS is designed to support the dignity and uniqueness of all students to help them succeed in the classroom. There are 3 main types of services offered:

A

One-on-One
​Tutoring

We provide general support of learning through one-on-one tutoring focused on teaching organizational skills, remediating particular content areas, and/or guiding overall student growth.

B

Individualized
​Learning Plans

For students with a perceived physical or mental impairment, we make adjustments in their classroom learning by developing fluid Individualized Learning Plans in coordination with parents and teachers. (ILP/504 Plan)

C

Individualized
​Educ. Programs

For students with diagnosed learning or speech disabilities, we partner with the Cascade School District Special Education department to provide testing and intervention. (IEP)
EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT COORDINATOR
Krissy Bennett
Krissy advocates for students who are struggling academically. Children who are referred to Educational Support Services may be evaluated using teacher input, observational methods, and norm referenced diagnostic tools. After this information is gathered, Mrs. Bennett works closely with parents and teachers in order to provide the student’s best possible learning solutions. [email protected]
