CCS MISSIONS PROGRAM
We have partnered with Mission Adventures to provide these discipleship training and outreach experiences for our students.
Students will be put outside of their comfort zone so that they can experience God like never before, and getting hands-on interactive training where they will be equipped with life-changing tools on how they can live their life for Jesus passionately every day. The training is designed to help kids better understand God working in their lives, so that they may share their story with others. In serving others, students can become who they are intended to be. Jesus teaches us that when we lose ourselves for His sake, that’s when we really find out who we are.
As a result, students will grow as they lose themselves in serving others and discover what they’re made of. Mission Adventures is a ministry of YWAM international, and is a short-term outreach experience designed specifically for young people who want to impact the world! Whether it be local, urban, or overseas, this generation has what it takes to be God’s catalyst for change.

“How do I secure a passport for the trip?”
The process for securing a passport needs to be started no later than February 1st by visiting this website. It will walk you through the steps of collecting the documents you need to go to the Post Office and get your passport ordered. When choosing between a passport book or card, the choice is up to you. The book works worldwide, but the card only works in Canada and Mexico (which is why it's cheaper). Either one will work for this trip, so the choice is yours.

“Are there any scholarships?“
Yes, three types of scholarships through CCS exist: $100 Sibling Scholarship, $100 Gap Scholarship, and $100 Emergency Scholarship. Apply via this Scholarship Application. The scholarship application will require students to confirm they have sent support letters. Students must also describe their personal efforts to sacrifice and support the cost of their own trip. Scholarships will be funded through the giving of donors who believe in the value of these trips, and many of these same donors are eagerly waiting to support individual students directly through support letter requests.

“Why are students required to write support letters in order to qualify for a scholarship?“
The great commission is not only about going, but sending. Missions is not an independent endeavor, but one that unites communities of believers. Guidance is available to students on how to write support letters. The idea of supporting others in missions follows patterns in the New Testament, and the experience will connect them with the larger Christian community, provide prayer support, and release the gifts among His people. Here is a Suggested Support Letter

“Is this a required experience?“
Since this experience combines discipleship training with outreach experience, both of these purposes are vital to the school's mission of discipleship parents. It is the desire of the school for all students to grow in these areas, but since this is the first year of this expanded program, exceptions will be made if necessary.

“What is the alternative experience?“
At this point an alternative experience has not been created. There is no easy substitute for the value of either YWAM opportunity. Alternatives would be created on a case by case basis as needed, most likely occurring during the typical school day, with limited to no cost.
